FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.— Press Association. ' Whangarei, Nov. 22. The featherweight boxing champion. ship of New Zealand was contested al a tournament held at Whangarei last night when L. Robinson (holder) won against W. Oliver (challenger). Th« .fight lasted nearly the full 15 rounds, Oliver being floored in the last minute. Virtually it ■ was a knock-out, but the referee ruled mat Oliver was disquali* lied on the grounds of his seconds break, mg into the ring when the count was proceeding. Oliver displayed clever de< fence and was only six points in arrears.
