HUSBAND OF MURDERED WOMAN ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrljht. Received Nov. 21, 9.25 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 21. A mysterious tragedy occurred at Coogee, when the wife of Meagher, of independent means, formerly a Tacehorse owner in Melbourne, was found dead. Meagher states he left his wife in bed at one o'clock yesterday. He returned at four, and found his wife in bed with her head battered. Much jewellery was untouched, there being no apparent motive for the crime. The husband has been arrested and charged with murder, bail being refused.
