I THURSDAY COMPETITION. INGLEWOOD v. ALBION. Tlio abovo teams met at Inglewood jlfljjfday, when the borne slayers secured «5 easy win by irn innings and 129 runs. The local men baited tlrst and compiled ITC, O'Byrne being tun scorer with 49, while several others made, very useful doublo-flgure scores. Wood and Oliver were, tlio most successful bowlers for the visitors. Albion made 31 in their first attempt, and Mere sent back again to the wickets and disposed of for 10. Oliver was the only man to reach double figures. Sutherland and Cutfleld did the major part of the bowling for the homo Warn. The visitors were hospitably entertained before leaving for home. The abovo clubs ' met at the Recreation Ground yesterday, when the New Plymouth team scored a three-point win, the total scores being New Tlymouth 137, Wairoka 21 and 38. F.
