A DUNEDIN SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. About noon to-day a young man found a man's coat on a fence at Clair, and a message close by, indicating the writer's intention to commit suicide. On looking over tho cliff he saw a body upright in the water. Constable Sehmti'er, who hastened to the spot, also saw the body, which sank soon afterwards. It is believed that the body is that of William Scarlett, who escaped from Ashburn Hall (a private mental asylum) a few days ago.
