ENTERTAINMENTS.
ALICE BEADY IN "THE WORLD TO LIVE IN." Alice Brady in the Select feature, "The World to Live In," showing to-night, and to-morrow at Everybody's, gives a most interesting characterisation of what is known in America as a ""finpanner." The type is common to all great cities, and is even seen here, that of a girl who thinks of nothing but pleasure, and is prepared to accept entertainment from any man who is ready to provide it for her. Butterily-like, she flits from one man to another, always accepting, giving nothing in return, and playing with fire, very nearly gets her fingers burned. She learns a lesson and seeks true happiness in the arms of a poor man who loves her. The portrayal is, stai'tingly true to life, and Alice Brady presents an entirely new role for her —in fact, the theme all through is novel. The picture is well presented, many of the scenes being'taken in Atlantic City. The supporting programme includes the fourth episode of that super-serial sensation, "Wolves of Kultur." THE PEOPLE'S. ■ LAST NIGHT OF VIVIAN MARTIN. The big bill at' the People's, presenting Vivian Martin in "Her Country First," the big Mack Sennett jingle of fun, "Rip and Stitch, Tailors," "The Fighting Trail," Pictograph and Gazette, screens finally to-night. A straight tip is, "Don't miss it." BUSHMAN AND BAYNE TO-MORROW. Dorothy Gish's photo is free to all patrons to-morrow night, who will also witness the latest production starring Francis X. Bushman and Beverly Baync, entitled "Social Quicksands." This play is a 55-act comedy-drama of surprises, romance and love. The latest Christie comedy, Gazette, and interest films are also shown.
