FATAL MINE ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport, Nov. 18. James Shearer, deputy of the Stock, ton mine, was killed by a* fall of stone or coal at one o'clock yesterday. He lingered till 5 o'clock. Deceased was a married man but had no family. A BOY DROWNED. Invercargill, Last ]*§ht.A boy two years of age, the son of .». B. King, South Invercargill, over'ibalanced and fell into a tub of water at ' hm parents' place this afternoon and was drowned.
