P. AND T. BONUS.
MEN EMPHASISE THEIR BIGHTS. ' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Nijjht. .The following resolution was caiTJed' unanimously at a meeting of the West Coast branch of the Post and Telegraph Asspieation held to-night: "That this. AVest Coast section of the P. and T. As- .'•'■ sociation strongly protests against an attempt to deprive members of the promised war bonus. The cost of living.. is still increasing, and the bonus, u ' absolutely necessary, as the recent salary increases do not nearly meet tM needs of tho service. We also strongly protest against Cabinet's decision Jo ' refer the question of Sir Joseph Ward'* promise to an independent tribunal, as delegates to the 1918 conference all elate definitely that the promise was made verbally, and this, taken with Sir Joseph Ward's statement, should be sufficient for any proof."
