A meeting in support of the League of Nations, at which Herr Erzerbcrger (the German Minister for Finance) was the principal speaker, was broken up by a hostile crowd, which stormed the hall and took possession of the meeting. The proceedings terminated with the singing of "Deutschland liber Alles." The crowd abused Herr Erzerberger and the Jews.—Reuter Service. Berlin, Nov. 15. There has been a great outburst of militarist enthusiasm. Thousands of students and 'others cheered Hindenbtirg and Ludcndorff when en route to the Responsibilities Committee. The postponement of their evidence was necessary. The crowds loudly cheered the Kaiser, hooted the Government, and denounced the Court of Inquiry.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
