.1 NEW AUSTRALIAN SCHEME, By Telegraph.—Presa Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 17, 10.45 p.m. Melbourne, Nov. 17. It is understood that Mr. W. M. Hughes proposes to pay soldiers a gratuity of 1/6 per day from embarkation to the official signing of peace on June 21«t.. and -to allow volunteers who did not leave the country a shilling a day for the time they spent in camp.—Aus - N.Z.
