BRITISH LABOR PARTY. By Telegraph.—Press A3sn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 8. The Labor Party is inaugurating a campaign in favor of State control of liquor. EMPIRE AIR SCHEMED. London, Nov. 8. General Sir P. H. Svkes (Chief of the Air Staff) is arranging to visit the Dominions preparatory to carrying out big aerial schemes in connection with England and the Dominions. THE GOVERNMENT AND TRADE. London, Nov. 9. Sir Auckland Geddes (President of the Board of Trade), speaking at Liverpool, said the Government's business in trade matters is to stand out of the ivay, but State control of coal was justified while the production was low. Intensive propaganda by the employers among the workmen would stimulate production as effectively as the war propaganda did recruiting. The fall in the value of money was hitting the workmen harder than anybody, inasmuch as on an average the increased wages did not quite compensate for the increased cost of living. AGENTS-GENERAL DISAGREE. Received Nov. 12, 5 5 p.m. London, Nov. 10. Sir C. G. Wade (Agent-General for New South Wales)' has brought the dispute with the Commonwealth to a climax by taking possession of the second Boor of Australia House.
