ONGARUE BRIDGE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Taumarunui, Nov. Hi. Mr. W. T. Jennings, M.P., opened the traffic bridge at Ongarue yesterday, another link in the national highway between Ongarue and Te Koura establishing connection with the West Taupo country. , At the Theatre Pioval Mr. Jennings was farewelled at a banquet by the citizens prior to standing for the new electorate of Waitomo. The Mayor and leading citizens spoke of the vo'rk done by the member in the 15 years' representation of his electorate, which was included in three education boards' disThe member had assisted in establishing 7G schools.
