TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
ANNUAL STEEPLECHASE. The steeplechase in connection with the New Plymouth Technical College took place yesterday, there being 48 competitors. I The course used for the occasion was I as follows:—Starting from school to Pendarves Street, up Marsland Hill, Bulteel Street, Dawson Street, Frankley Road, just past the tannery strike across country, across Huatoki stream (wade or swim), up the hilt to Mill Road, Carrington Roact, across paddocks, through the Park and home to the College. The results were:— Senior Championship.—A. Dickson 1, T. Bailey 2, A. Ruraball 3, W. O'Brvne 4, L. Stephenson 5, Junior Championship.— W. Reed 1 L Loveridge 2, S. Shore 3, A. Millar i, E~ Corney (i. Handicap.—H. Bint. (4 min.) 1 D. ( 3 2, A. Benslev (3 min.) 3, 0. Body (3 min.) 4, L. Andrews (4 min ) 5, A. Styles (2 min.) 6, M. Taylor (sc.) Fastest time, Iflmin. 30secs. (A.
