Dingle, president of the Stratford A. and P. Association, has been spending a few days in New Plymouth canvassing for entries for the forthcoming aliow. The Egmont Coach and Carriage Factory has been taken over by Messrs. L. ,G. Horn, W. Rogers and A. Finch. The first named has had 23 years' experience as a wheelwright in the Manawat'u. II r. Rogers, who specialises in plough smithing, has followed his present calling for 30 years, and Mr. Finch, the cpach smith and horse-shoer, lias had experience in Australia and New Zealand extending over 20 years. The business will be run as formerly in the meantime, and as time goes on necessary adjustments and improvements will be under the control of a thoroughly practical man, and one who is a specialist in his own line.
