Received Nov. 12, 7/>~i p.m. Washington, Nov. 10. • President Wilson, on Armistice Day, issued the following message: "The Allies, for more than four years, upheld the barriers of civilisation against aggression of armed forces. We were also a decisive factor in the victory, and from the victory arose economic concert and political freedom. The world to-day is filled with pride for us, because an opportunity had been given to America to show sympathy with peace and justice in the council of nations." —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
