FARMERS' UNION PROTESTS. Palmerston N., Nov 6. At ft largely attended meeting of the Fanners* Union at Palmerston North tort*J *J» following resolution was ca* ned: "That this executive is not satisMd *tth the statement of the Board of Trade that boots in New Zealand are the cheapest in the world. Our information is quite to the contrary. Tanners are exporting other than hoot leather, and particularly hides, at half the price that farmers could get in the open market.
