CHAMBER OF PRINCES.

THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. G, 12.45 a.m. Delhi, Nov. 3. The Viceroy, in opening a conference of ruling Princes and Chiefs, announced that it was the Government's intention to create a permanent Chamber of Princes. It would be a consulting and not an executive body and attendance and voting would be voluntary. Resolutions passed must inevitably exercise an influence in the relation of the Government with the Durbars not participating in the deliberations of the Chamber, Which should not discuss the internal affairs of any State or actions of individual rulers.
