The postponed juvenile Peace Sports will be held at the Recreation Grounds next Tuesday. f Mr. W. Hogg, who, previous to going on active service, acted as Borthwick's buyer in this district, leaves to-morrow-for Te Kuiti, where lie will resume his duties for the sam« liriti. j Inglewood is not so far electrified over the forthcoming election. Committees I for both candidates have been formed | and are working quietly in the interests lof their candidates, Mr. Masters will fire the first f};ot here on Tuesday evening. The Mayor will preside. Mr- A. Lile lias disposed of his bakery business to Messrs. Lealand Bros., of New Plymouth. A lad named Hoskins met with a severe accident there on Sunday morning, when he sustained severe injuries to his head through falling from a milk cart. The sufferer was taken to Nurse Morgan's private hosiptal, where medical help was summoned, and he was subsequently conveyed to the New Plymouth hospital by Mr. Marsh, of Egmont Village.
