MATTERS CONCERNING TARANAKI. ] (By Wire. —Own Correspondent.) Wellington, November 1. The Washing-Up Bill provides that the lease to the Wainiate West County Council for the purposes of model dairy farms of land held by the Crown for ( an experimental dairy school is validated. The land is described as section 32, block 3, Waimate Survey District. The reservation over a certain endowment in Eltham for the purposes of primary education is to he vested in the Eltham Borough, to bo used for approved public works at the pleasure of the Minister of Education. The lease of the Rewa Rewa rifle range, New Plymouth, to the Taranaki Agricultural Society is authorised. Land held since 1870 by the Crown as a prison site, bounded by Breakwater Road, ig released from this reservation in order that it may be ÜBedj for workers' homes, a school site and domain purposes.
