CITY'S TERRIBLE PLIGHT. GREAT EXPLOSION OF GAS SHELLS. PEOPLE WEARING MASKS. By Telegraph.—Press Atsn.—.Copyright. Received Oct. 31, 12.20 a.m. Berlin, Oct. 28. There was a disastrous explosion of Ammunition and gas shells at Munster on the eve of the handing over of the supplies to the Allies in accordance with the Treaty. Many were killed, but details are unknown. The city is threatened. Thick clouds of gas envelop the district and gas masks have been issued to the inhabitants.—Times Service.
