RECONSIDERATION WANTED,

Wellington, Last Night.
Mr. S. G. Smith (Taranaki) has givej notice to ask the Minister of Publil Works if he will this session arrangi to have the construction of the extensioi of the Te Roti-Opunako railway, betweei Opunake and New Plymouth, duly" authorised. The question will probably be raised when the Appropriation Bill Is being considered.
