As a matter of fact, he has expressed hiß willingness to accept the position, but the extension was automatic; it was part of the arrangement made at the time when he took office. Sir Joseph Ward: Then no further appointment can be made until February ? Mr. Massey; No further appointment can be made while the present gentleman occupies the position. , Sir Joseph Ward: That is after February f - : SE Mr, Massey: Yes.
