FIRES.
OUTBREAK IN BRICK WORKS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Taumarunui, October 24. There was a big *,Taze early this morning at the Roofing Tile and Brick Company's factory on the TaumarunuiMatapuna Road. The fire was first noticed about one o'clock, when the building was blazing furiously. Six kilns and the drying room were- destroyed. The machinery in the manufacturing department was saved -by the brigade's strenuous efforts The damage is estimated at £3300.
