KAWAROA PARK.
COMMITTEE'S ANNUAL IIEPORT. ■ The annual report of the Kawaroa Park Committee states inter alia: The revenuo during the year amounted to £931, whilst there Is a credit balance of £2Ol as against £O9 18s lid last year. Owing to the increasing popularity of the park and tho heavy demand made upon our resources, the committee was compelled to make extensive additions to the pavilion at a cost of £B7O. The rent from the pavilion returned £lO more than for the previous year; afternoon teas arcountea for £l3l 16s sd, and euchre parties for a net return of £ll9 7s Gd, and £34 was received j in donations. Thanks are due to al) who had i assisted in the year's undertakings, especially | to tho Ladies' Committee. Special refer- 1 ,ence is mDde to the success of the last | Easter the prcVeeds flram which \ amounted to £409. Improvements Jiave been j carried out to the general equipment of the . park, and everything is in capital order for | the forthcoming season. i The statement of receipts showed the total to be £923 8s Td, and the expenditure £722 17s lOd, leaving a balance of £204 10s lid. The only liability is a balance of £SO on a loan raised some time ago for building purposes.
