Miss Ellen Melville and Mr. Samuel' Turkington, formerly of Hawera, linvc announced themselves to-day as candidates in the Reform Party interests, for the Grey *Lynn seat. AUCKLAND EAST. A deputation waited upon Mr Clutha Mackenzie, son of the High Commissioner, to-night, and asked him to stand as the official Reform Party candidate for Auckland East at the coming election.
