By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, October 23. The Public Service Association conference to-day adopted remits that payments of superannuation up to £52 per annum be not considered as income under the Pensions that the association approach the Government with a view to granting out of the Consolidated X* und some relief to superannuated public servants who are in receipt of less than £l5O a year. Wellington, Last Night. The conference adopted the following remits:

That the Government be asked to bring into operation a scheme wheraby married men with families will bo granted relief to meet the cost of living.

That in order to assist in simplification of accounting in the public service •the Government be requested to set up a committee of competent officials selected from the public service to preface a handbook on public service accounting for the guidance of officers in the service, and to invite suggestions regarding improvements in the system of .accounting from and through such committee.

That the Government provide for a statutory recognition of the Association.

That the Government be. requested to provide by legislation that membership of the Public Service Association be made a necessary qualification for permanent employment in the Public Service.
