,'. ANOTHER LARGE LOAN. TO RAISE OVER £50,000,000. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 21, 7.50 p.m. New York, October 20. Messrs J. P. Morgan and Company announced that they aie about to float in the United States, on behalf of Great Britain 250,000,000 dollars (roughly £50,000,000) at 5% per cent., bond issue. The bonds will be of two classes, namely for three and ten years. Part of the proceeds Will be used to pay off, approximately, 135,000,000 dollars (roughly £27,000,000) of the 5% per cent United Kingdom Notes that are maturing on November Ist, and the remainder will be available for Govurnment requirements. United States, or British merchants, who may be able to do so, can buy at a dollar exchange, ex-Government bonds that will yield an attractive return in dollars, and with the privilege of conversion into sterling honds.—Aus.-N.Z.
