DEPUTATION TO THE PREMIER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A deputation from Hawera met the Prime Minister to-day regarding the di' lay taking place in connection w:th the proposed new Technical High School. Speakers said that the Stratford School, which was started later, had a grant of £13,000, and was already building, while they could not get plans approved for Hawera. * Mr Massey said thaj: a very considerable sum was being reserved for education buildings and the Hawera School would probably lie provided for in that sum. tie knew of the progress Hawera was making and assured them of his sympathy in getting the question decided.
