For the second day of tho Caulfleld races, the weather was fine and bright. There was a largo attendance. The top-weight, Etive, led round the turn in tho Nursery Handicap, and won comfortably. The time for the race was a record. Mr. Kemball's Well Done, was a [rood fourth.' Surveyor was si-.-th at the half-mile, and finished a fair third. ' In the Eclipse Stakes, Eusebitis led in the last three furlongs, and won comfortably from Chrome. ■ The lime, 2.19%, heat the course record by %■of a. second. The principal results are:— MONA NURSERY HANDICAP.—Etive 8.10 t, Yacamumla 5.2 2, Capelal 7.13 3. -Twentythree starters. Won by two lengths. . Time, 55% sees.
