MOTION PICTURE EXHIBITORS.

FORM INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph.-rPress Association. Wellington, Last Night. A conference of independent picture exhibitors was held at the Town Hall to-night, when it was decided to form an association entitled the Independent Association of Picture Proprietors. The following provisional exeeutivn was appointed: Wellington, A. M. Pickford and G. L. Johnson; Hawkes Bay, P. G. Murdoch and Thompson; Wanganui, R. W. Green; Auckland, A. Cox and G. Alexander; Canterbury, C. Yeader and R. Cleland; Manawatu, T. F. Fitzgerald. A motion was passed favoring the resumption of pre-epideraic hours in the case of continuous picture houses.
