Received Oct. 15, 10.30 p.m. Paris, October 15. A most impressive ceremonial has been arranged for Thursday at Monte Marte, when the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which has been building for many years, will be dedicated on the site of the martyrdom of St. Derys and Marguerite Alacoque, who bad a vision of the Sacred Heart. Seven million subscribers in all parts of the world contributed to the Basilica.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ANOTHER SHIPPING STRIKE. Received Oct. 15, 11.20 p.m. Paris, Oct. 14. Nine thousand passengers were held up at Marseilles owing to another strike, including engineers, stewards, wireless operators, and doctors. The strike is due to the refusal of the owners to reinstate some men who previously struck.—Reuter.
