AN ERROR CORRECTED.

To the Editor. I Sir,--In reporting on a complaint to the County Council nt its meeting on Monday by mo with regard to the spread of gorse on the road, I was made to say in to-day'a News that the weed was In possession "of my whole road frontage," etc. This is almost too silly a statement to bother about, but the object of icy complaint was to try and save my frontage—which up to the present is clean—from having gorse seed carried alone it and spread about by water courses from tho road frontage of a neighbouring property. By kindly making this correction you will oblige.—l am, etc., JAS. HALL. Albert Road, October 7. (Mr. Hall's letter to the Council read: "Along the whole of one frontage—probably some 20 cfcains or more—it Is in possession," etc. Tho word "one" was read 113 "our" which made it appear as if Mr. Hall's frontage was tho affected area. We regret the mistako occurred.—Ed.)
