MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
CIVIL SITTING. (Before Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.). In the Magistrate's Corrt yesterday Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiff by default in the following undefended cases:— C. A. P. Wood (Mr. H. R. Billing) V, P. Collver, C. M Collyer, and J. Murphy, £lllO 7s 3d (costs £7 15s); R. Wlia'le (Mr. Billing) v. G. B. Beere, £34 16s 6d (costs £2 14s); Arnold George (Mr. R, H. Quilliam) v. N, L. Hanright, £22 (costs £3 4s 6d). Orders were made in the following judgment summons cases: Thomas Duffin to pay i\ J. Hill the sum of £l4 19s 5d on or before October 15, in default 15 days' imprisonment- Tom Willing to pay £3 12s to Dr. H. A. McCleland forthwith in default three days' impris. onraent, the warrant to be suspended so long as the debtor paid the amount by weekly instalments of ss. In the case of Ambury Bros (Mr. C, H. Croker) v. Amelia M*. L. Mcßeth, a discontinued action, judgment was given for plaintiff by default for the sum of £SO 17s, with costs as for a defended case amounting to £5 16s 6d.
