NEW PLYMOUTH IN THE TOUR, By Telegraph.—Press Association. • Wellington, Lust Night. The project to bring over the New South Wales State Orchestra is taking shape. It is proposed to give five concerts is the cities, Timaru, Oamaru, invercar-' gill, Napier, Hastings, Falmerston North, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The Mayors of these towns are being communicated with asking them to take np the matter of procuring l a guarantee. Expenses are estimated at £6769, and this amount must be guaranteed before the orchestra will be allowed to come, but the promoters do not anticipate the guarantees will be called on in view o! the success which attended similar p/*. formances by other great orchestral.
