ACTION AT HASTINGS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, Last Night. ' At a general meeting of the R.S.A. last night resolutions • were, carried as follows: (1) Expressing confidence in the Dominion Executive's action in connection with the present deadlock between quarters and Auckland; (2) that there should be no alteration in the constitute to provide' for political action; (3) that (a) the meeting strongly deprecate* 1 xeestrd to gratuities and adheres to the ,tfce action of the Wellington R.S.A. m resolution of the Christchurch conference, ■ and (*) th»t« the Scale of payments under the Government gratuity scheme js acceptable, on the whole.
