FRANCE.
Till: PROBLEM OF LUXEMBURG. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Paris, Oct. (1. The Government is negotiating with Belgium over the solution of the Luxemburg problem. The Belgians take an unfavorable view of the result of the plebiscite, holding that Luxemburg is to Belgium what Alsace-Lorraine was to France. The French do not desire to jeopardise their friendship with Belgium, and art willing even to give her a share in the management of the Luxemburg railways to secure closer cooperation between the three countries. —Aus.-N.Z.
