CUSTOMS REVENUE.

NEW PLYMOUTH RETURNS. ' Mr R. E. D. Eyre, Collector of Customs, supplies the following returns of the revenue collected at New Plymouth for the. month of September:— Customs £4Bll 7s Bd, compared with £6047 12s 4d for tlio corresponding period of last year; beer duty £217 lis sd, compared with l £195 9s 3d for Septembor of last year. For the quarter ended September 30, the customs revenue amounted to £10,316 0s 7d, against £12,217 16s 8d for the corresponding quarter of last year, and tho beer duty amounted to £760 14s 3d against £584 10s Cd for the corresponding period of last year.
