A meeting of the committee of the Manawatu Baclng Club last night decided to hold three day's races next Christmas. The chief events on the programme are: First day, tho Cup (£1000); second day. President's Handl- •«> (£700); third day, Liverpool Handicap, Improvements to the course were decided upon, Including the erection of a tea kiosk costing over £2OOO. While the Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon J. B. Hlne) was In Eltham on Monday a deputation from the Eltham Baclng Club waited upon him In connection with certain matters n-ktlng to the formation of the club,
