TWO DIFFICULT PROBLEMS. FUME AND VON DER GOLTZ. By Telegraph.—PreM Awn.— Copyright. Received Sept. 27, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 25. The Council of Five spent yesterday discussing the Fiurae situation and, more particularly, von der Gpltz's refusal to disband his army in the Baltic States. It is believed that von der Goltz ia defying the Berlin Government, and it is certain that the Berlin Government does not posßess sufficient authority to compel von der Goltz to disband. Therefore the Allies' problem is concerned with von der Goltz direct. The Allies' armed force consists mainly of French divisions in the Rhine afea.—United Service. ANOTHER ULTIMATUM TO GERMANY. i Received Sept. 28, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 27. The Supreme Council has decided to demand that the Germans shall evacuate Lithuania.—Aus. N.Z, Cable Assoc.
