ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A MAN DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gore, Sept. 20. William Cordy, about 40 years of ago, unmarried, was drowned, yesterday in the Waikaia, River. , He Was driving a team of two horses across the river, which was in fresh. Both horses were drowned. The dray and horses were recovered this morning but there were np signs of the ftan's body. Deceased hud been employed at Glenaray Station for seven years.
