RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
THREE CARRIAGES OVERTURNED *AT MARTON. NO ONE INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Marton, Sept. 20. Just as the Auckland express was Reaving Marton for Palmerston this rooming three passenger caTs left the line and were overturned and badly smashed. The accident is supposed to have happened through the rails spreading, as there was no other apparent cause. It is a miracle that no one was hurt, as the tars were full and they were turned over on their sides and their platforms broken. The road was also ploughed up. The accident caused a delay of about two hours. The road will have to be built up round the scene of the accident, and it is not expected that the damage will be completely, repaired till a late hour to-morrow.
