TROOPS AND BANDITS WORK TOGETHER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Washington, Sept. IS. Miss Agnes Laut, a woman journalist who has been making investigations of the Mexican situation, gave evidence before the Senate Committee which is inquiring into conditions in Mexico. Miss Laut made an appeal for the American womeil who have been carried off by bandits and tortured. One Aineri. can farmer was tied to a tree and stabbed until insane. Women captives are at the mercy of the bandits. The Mexican troops are equally guilty with the bandits.
