PUNGAREHU. (From Our Own Correspondent) The ordinary meeting of the local School Committee was held in, the Pungarehu Hall on the 11th Inst. Mr F .T. Campbell .presided. Application is to he made for a teacher's new residence, the piesent one being unsuitable for !ho purpose. Mrs .lames Fleming is now reported to be much improved in health. Mrs Fleming has been under treatment at a private hospital in New Plymouth for the past two weeks. Dr. Wade was urgently summoned to Puugarthu on Sunday evening last. An old resident in the person of Mrs Campbell, of Pungarehu Road, took suddenly ill. lam pleased to report that Mrs Campbell has Improved. A member of Mr Eli Taylor's family also took Hi last week necessitating the removal to the New Plymouth Hospital. Wo wish the | young sufferer a speedy recovery.
