Nearly 10,000 passengers are held up, overcrowding the hotels 1 and cafes. ' The strike at Marseilles ended in a victory for the dockers, whose demands were granted. BAKERS' STRIKE CONTINUES. Sydney, Sept. 16. There are now 2000 idle the result of the bakers' strike. The m«n will further consider proposals for a settlement to-day. The master bakers have decided to man the bakeries,and it is expected that supplies of brea4 Will be available to-day.
