THREE EXPRESS TRAINS A WEEK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In tlie House this afternoon, Mr. Massey made the following statement: Commencing on Monday next, and until further notice, express trains will be run as follows: Leave Auckland for Wellington on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- Leave Wellington for Auckland on "'Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Auckland for Rotorua on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave Rotorua for Auckland on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Palmerston North for Napier on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave Napier for Palmerston North on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Wellington for New Plymouth on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave New Plymouth for Wellington on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Wellington for Woodville on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave Woodville for Wellington on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Christchureh for Dunedin on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Leave Dunedin for Christchureh on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave Dunedin for Invercargill on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Leave Invercargill for Dunedin, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It will, however, be necessary to impose restrictions on passenger traffic in order to keep the passenger trains down to one engine load. With respect to goods traffic, the restrictions are being gradually eased, and material relief will be given, but, in view of the accumulation of timber and other large lines, some little time must elapse before normal conditions will again be restored.
