Owing to the waterside workers At Auckland refusing to unload the Fiona's cargo of 4,800 tons of sugar until a new crew has been signed on by the vessel to replace her present non-unionist crew, she has been despatched to .Sydney to discharge her cargo there. This will cause a further shortage of sugar in New Zealand, as the 'Fiona was to have returned to Fiji for more sugar after the discharge of her present load. The Paloona has just completed discharging i 2000 tons of sugar there, and bag gone to Fiji for another load. The Atua is due to-day with 2000 tons, and U»t, with the Paloona's next load, is *ll the sugar in sight at present.
