REPATRIATED GERMANS.
FROM AUSTRALIA By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— l Copyright. Received Sept. 9, 9,30 p.m. London, Sept. 8. The Trazosmoiites discharged 1500 German prisoners at Rotterdam. Tho vessel had a clean bill of health. There was no influenza on the voyage. Intense anti-British and anti-Aus-tralian feeling was displayed, but the incipient insubordination was stopped with a strong hand. A man attempted a hunger-strike, which only lasted four days. The Dutch authorities carried out tho transfer without delay. A hot meal was awaiting the Germans on disembarking, and the prisoners were quickly despatched to Germany in two special trains. A party of • "Diggers" climbed the masts and sang "Australia Will be There." The disembarked Germans retorted, crying out: "So will the Germans." Australian officers and men on the Trazosmontes, who visited Rotterdam, are convinced that Holland is strongly pro-Germans—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
