1 fin. A DRAMATIC EPISODE. By Tehgracb—Pr«u Aun.-Coprr'tht. Paris, Sept. 4. There was a, dramatic episode in Quien's trial. Quicn's counsel last week requested the production of evidence from Brussels, which be declared was favorable to Quicn, The court accordingly deterred the examination. A telegram from Brussels to-day states that during the trials arming from Nurse Cavell's arrest, Nurse iCavclVs betrayer was described in terms cxactjy fitting Ojiien. The latter protest,ed that the betrayer was a German policeman exactly resembling him like a brother. The court was so.astonished [by the telegram that it decided to await the arrival of documents. f The Government's representative demands that the death sentence be passed on the prisoner, not as Nurse Cavell's betrayer, but a 9 a spy for the Germans.— Aus.
