Diplomatic appointments are announced as follows: Sir Esme Howard, Minister to Sweden, becomes Ambassador at Madritl; .Sir Charles Young, to Honduras, is appointed' to Serbia; Sir Ronald Graham, Assistant-Under-Secretary at the Foreign Oflice, becomes Minister to Holland; Sir Horacfe Rumbold, Minister to Switzerland, becomes Minister to Poland; Mr. Theodore Russell. diplomatic secretary for Foreign Affairs, becomes Minister to Switzerland; Mr. Colville Barclay, counsellor to the British Embassy at Washington, becomes Minister to Sweden; Lord Acton, Consul-General at Zurich, becomes Minister to Finland; and Sir George Russell Clark, counsellor to the British Embassy at 'Constantinople, Minister to Czeclio-Slovakia.— Reut«r.
