EGYPT.
THE REVOLUTIONARY SPIRIT. GREATER THAN EVER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 5, 1.55 p.m. Cairo, Sept. 4. Reports from all sides indicate an increase in the revolutionary spirit. The latest evidence is an attempt to assassinate the Premier. The Nationals are collecting funds with the greatest energy. The Zagoul Mission, despite official warnings, boast that they will soon raise a million sterling for propaganda work in Europe, America, and elsewhere.
The Premier's assailant was Elsey Dali Mohammed, a theological student. The bomb, which was concealed in a basket of grapes, struck the closed window of ths Premier's motor car-and fell harmless to the ground. Elsey made no attempt to escape. When arrested he explained that Allah willed it. —The Times Service
