The attendance w«s fair, and the going lieary. A sensation has been caused In racing circles. Batho has trained many winners. King Sol won the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood. One Is that if Australian foals were depastured in the Dominion the result would be a crop of Gloamings. There Is not only something In the climate there that Is lacking here, but the grasses are more succulent. Arch Marella has been scratched for the Epsom Handicap.
